So Elder Myers is nearing his last little bit in the CCM. I have been slacking so I am going to try to make up for it the best I can.
September 25
Well I've officially been here for 4 weeks now. only 12
days until I leave to Washington. Which is insane, but not close enough,
everyone gets sick of it here, it´s like a right of passage. Hmm what
else, oh today I got my head shaved. Not really on purpose, but you
don´t really get to tell them what you want. It´s really short. like a 3
maybe 2 on the sides and a 3 or 4 on top. I feel bald!
Well
I have to apologize, I wrote out a huge email, and then my interenet
crashed and deleted everything. Basically I´m doing ok, the langauge is
getting easier. I´m excited to have one month down, and how is everyone
at home? Good I hope?
October 2
Well actually the last 6 weeks have passed very quickly in retrospect, obviously everyday feels like it was a year long when you crawl into bed at night, but weeks flew by, everything just kinda blurs together. I visited the temple again today, apparently we won the lottery no other districts got to go twice, only us for some odd reason. I have two "Mexican style" rucksacks that I would like to probably mail home when I get back to the states. My Spanish is doing better not as good as I would like, mainly do to my district, they´re every against speaking "solo espanol" during the day, "this isn't language time, speak English." It´s frustrating, it´s hard to learn the language when no one around you will even bother to listen let alone respond when you speak it to them.
Let's see. Um oh yes my district had to sing for a
devotional. That was interesting to do. Nothing really happened in the
last week, we don´t really do much now, it´s mostly just a waiting game
as we prepare to go out to the field. Which I can´t wait for, because I want to teach. Which can
be frustrating. Anyway I love you all, I hope you´re
having a good time at home even with all the chaos that goes on. See
you next week
